Description:

Bear hunting charm with leather loop. Made of caribou hide, a bear’s lip and beads. Beaded triangular design and beaded fringe with loop ends (compare and contrast with plate XVIII in Speck 1935:214). The charm was worn around the neck by a hunter to bring luck in capturing bears.
